About Me

Conductor, Music Director & Leadership Speaker

With over 20 years of experience as a conductor, I combine artistic vision with organizational strength. I lead multiple orchestras in the Stuttgart region and beyond, shaping innovative concert programs and bringing together musicians from across Europe. As an orchestra director, I have learned that leadership speaks the same language everywhere – and I am glad to share these insights with executives and leaders from any field.

Education
1999 – 2002

Diploma in Conducting – HMT Leipzig

I completed my conducting studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig under Prof. GMD Gert Bahner. My diploma thesis, titled "The Dance on the Podium – a Movement Analysis: Various Methods towards Improved Body Awareness," bridges musical practice and physical awareness – a theme that continues to inform my work on the podium today.

1996 – 1998

Master of Music (M. Mus.) Violine – Yale School of Music

I earned my Master of Music in Violin at the renowned Yale School of Music under Prof. Erick Friedman – one of the most distinguished violin pedagogues of the 20th century. This training laid the technical and musical foundation for my later career as a conductor and orchestra director.

1993 – 1997

Bachelor of Arts (B. A.) in Music – Yale College

I completed my undergraduate studies at Yale College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. My thesis examined Mahler's Eighth Symphony, focusing on motivic development and its relationship to the text – an early engagement with the deeper dimensions of orchestral composition.
